Analytical Detection Receives U.S. Patent for Low-Volatility Trace Detection Technology

Analytical Detection has received U.S. Patent No. 12,181,394, titled “Method and System for Trace Detection of Low Volatile Substances.”

The patented technology addresses one of the important challenges in trace detection: efficiently detecting substances with low volatility that can be difficult to desorb and analyze using conventional approaches.

The technology provides a foundation for Analytical Detection’s work on next-generation trace-detection systems designed to expand the range of substances that can be detected in security-screening applications. The technology is also incorporated into the development of the BeagleX 100 HT platform.
