Analytical Detection Presents Portable IMS Technology for Narcotics Detection at ASMS 2025

Analytical Detection presented recent work in portable ion mobility spectrometry for narcotics detection at the 2025 Conference of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS).

Jack Syage, PhD, Chairman of the Board of Analytical Detection, presented a poster titled “A Field-Portable High-Resolution Ion Mobility Spectrometer for Trace Detection of Illicit Drugs in Complex Matrices.”

The work focused on high-resolution IMS technology for trace-level detection of illicit drugs in complex sample environments and its potential for portable and field-deployable detection systems.
