- September 2023 – Analytical Detection LLC presented BeagleX 100 and other developments at the 13th International Symposium on the Analysis and Detection of Explosives in Charlotte, NC.
- September 2022 – William McGann joined the Company’s Board of Directors. Over the course of his professional career Dr. McGann held many leadership roles including (a) founder of the first explosives trace detection company, Ion Track Instruments, (b) CTO for GE Security, (c) VP of Engineering for United Technologies Fire and Security business, (d) CEO (and board member) of Implant Sciences Corp., (e) CTO at L3Harris Aviation Security and Detection business and (f) CTO for the Security, Detection and Automation business at Leidos Corporation.
- May 2022 – Analytical Detection LLC introduces its first product BeagleX 100 at the 11th Workshop on Trace Explosive Detection in New Orleans, LA.
- July 2021 – Analytical Detection LLC received its first US patent # 11,029,282 for ion mobility spectrometry in liquid phase.
- January 2020 – Susan Hallowell joined the Company’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Analytical Detection, Dr. Hallowell held several key technical and executive positions in the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Homeland Security in the area of detection of illicit substances (explosives and chemical warfare agents).
- June 2019 – Analytical Detection LLC received a Phase I SBIR grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop high performance liquid phase ion mobility spectrometer for omics applications.
- June 2018 – Analytical Detection LLC completed series A investment round.
- March 2018 – Analytical Detection LLC formed to develop advanced ion mobility-based tools for life science and homeland security markets.
